Have you ever heard people describe themselves based on the illnesses they’ve been diagnosed with? They hand it all out as if it’s their calling card. An interesting pun at the end of it would be, “call me if you want to hear more.” Of course you don’t and you won’t be calling for an update.
Transformation through the healing process depends on several uniques strategies: focusing on health by focusing on great healing herbs, foods, environments, and thoughts. It’s a lot of work and a lot of re-creating; in brief, it is joy and enlightening.
It is very true that all suffering happens with thought. We literally think ourselves ill, poor, not-enough and unworthy; and so what is the turn around? The turn around place, the place of letting go, resolution, integration and new life begins with the quieting of the mind and letting go of the need to think our way into anything. It is the “s” word: Surrender.
You might think prayer is the solution. It is a part of transformation through transition; however, it must be real, uncontrived and not performed by formulation. Prayers answered are done in the quiet place, also the place of no thought, surrender. Thery are prayers deep enough to touch the God-Self within, uniting the sub-conscious and supra-conscious mind.
How do we access that place? It is in the quieting of the human logical brain; it is in meditation. So take a deep breath, and if only for a moment be very still; think nothing, do nothing, trust that all is well.
Tomorrow we’ll dig deeper into how to proceed and why this process of real healing works but for now breathe deeply and realize you are All God potential.

My first introduction to Proper Food Combining, made famous by Herbert Shelton came in 1975. It made even more sense to me as I learned more about body dynamics, anatomy and physiology, the synergy in digestion and how the quality of food effects overall health. Reading Shelton’s book, Fasting Can Save Your Life at the same time in 1975 did make my understanding of the concept of food combining easier.
There are two magnificent concepts I learned thirty-four years ago I want to share with you at the onset of this blog: 1. resting for a full eight days, fasting with pure alkaline water and a pure green drink, talking as little as possible, meditating, and with no computer access can begin the process for healing and change the body from acid to alkaline conditions; and 2. body death begins with poor digestion; and after a good cleanse, eating with proper food combining in mind can change death-progressing conditions around.
Meditating on and embracing both of those truths can save your life.
How Digestion Happens
Food combining properly respects the digestion process of the human body. In a nutshell, starches and sugars begin to be broken down in the mouth with salivary amylase, pytalin. Starches are broken down to maltose by pancreatic amylase in the small intestine, the duodenum; and then, the process from maltose to glucose is completed by brush border enzymes (micro-villi) in the small intestine. By- products of maltose, glucose, galactose or fructose get absorbed by the blood stream through the small intestine. Bloodstream Glucose moves to the liver where it begins a dispensing process regulated by the liver. Another amazing job accomplished by your indispensable liver. If you chew a piece of bread slowly and long you will taste the exquisite breakdown to sweetness in your mouth.
Protein digestion begins when the body’s olfactory sense sends a message to the stomach. Pepsinogen secreted by the chief cells is converted to pepsin as hydrochloric acid (HCL) secreted by the parietal cells activates it. The breakdown of proteins in the stomach must happen or proper assimilation will not take place. Protein digestion is completed as pancreatic enzymes: trypsin, chymotrypsin and carboxypeptidase shoot into the duodenum; and further as brush border enzymes assimilate with aminopeptidase, carboxypeptidase and dipeptidase.
Fats are digested in the small intestine by the detergent action of bile from the liver. That is another one of the many jobs of your amazing liver. The digestion of fats is also assisted by pancreatic enzymes which mix with bile in something called the hepatopancreatic duct designed to shoot into the small intestine through it’s ampulla in the duodenum.
Sugars begin their breakdown in the mouth with salivary amylase and are completed in the small intestine by brush border enzyme sucrase. Sugars eaten with a carbohydrate stop the digestion of the starch by inhibiting the secretion of pytalin, necessary in the breakdown of starches.
Why Proper Food Combining Alleviates Body Stress
For sake of time let’s focus on how long it takes to digest certain healthy foods. Fruit juices move through most quickly, usually twenty - thirty minutes; Fruit is next at thirty - forty minutes; Vegetables only take forty-five minutes to an hour depending on their starch attributes. Always eat fruits alone. Soups are a great choice along with juicing when on a clean out and building process. Soups and juices move through the body in less than an hour, as long as it isn’t a bean soup. Starches, carbohydrates go through three processes and take from one - two hours depending on complexity and the combination of foods they are ingested with. Processing fats can take several hours as does the process of protein, although fats take longer and take priority.
Having stated these very few and very brief digestive processes let’s get serious. If digestion either makes or breaks how you operate in life, and if digestive juices dwindle and get used up with use and abuse over time you may well imagine how continued eating of food combinations like a Big Mac, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or even a yummy healthy vegetarian sandwich with tofu can be a recipe for disaster.
When you eat a hamburger, healthy or not, your body tackles the fat first, then the protein. That sounds so simple but it can take hours depending on your ability to produce HCL, hydrochloric acid, and how overloaded your liver and pancreas are. If you still wonder where I’m going with all of this, hold on, because the best is yet to be discovered. The carbohydrates that have been pushed through with the other foods have not been processed properly with the salivary amylase and are beginning to ferment in your stomach. That happens because fat and protein digestion take precedence. Ouch, so within this entire scenario which can take many hours, the “food” in your stomach becomes a compost heap. The same will be true of any combination of even organic foods which include a fat, a carbohydrate, and a protein regardless of the great vegetables you throw in there.
If you are in a sensitive condition… Let me state that differently. When I feel ill or am in an allergic state I always look carefully at how I combine my foods. It makes all of the difference between healing quickly, staying in shape, and keeping the body in an alkaline state.
Is food combining difficult? Not at all. Have a piece of bread - with vegetables - not with a protein – and never with fruit. Eat rice or pasta - with vegetables. Eat protein - with vegetables - not with bread - never with fruit. Eat fruit and fruit juices - all by themselves. Make sure you get good fats in your diet - you require balanced EFAs (essential fatty acids) to live. Eat small meals every 2-3 hours and keep your combinations respectable. Give yourself a sugar treat - simply alone - and not in bread combinations. Drink a cup of coffee - not with food. Have a glass of wine - not too much - not with an indulgently heavy meal - it will ferment.
Feel what works for you and play with getting healthy with the food combining game.

Besides eliminating toxins in your home, Organic textiles feel rich and luxurious. Organic cotton means everything in the case of optimal health, well being, and natural comfort for you and your family. Organic bedding feels luxurious and will make a world of difference in the healing that sleep time provides.
Always choose organic cotton and wool for your home, especially for those sleep times. Studies prove optimal sleeping conditions require breathable surfaces. Only organic bedding and natural sleepwear can provide that; in fact, recovering patients are far more comfortable, and heal better with non-toxic and chemical free organic bedding.
From the foods we eat to the linens we sleep on and the clothes we wear we want the highest result possible. It isn’t possible to be healthy while eating foods derived from abused animals, nor can we sleep on bedding created with chemically grown and sprayed elements. Those items are toxic
When you buy organic you reap the benefits in family health, reduce medical costs, have peace of mind and also know that you are giving to a great project. Keeping our rain forests safe is of the utmost importance both on a physical and a spiritual level. Think of sustainability as the ultimate savings or trust account for your children because it is.
Be part of that huge and conscious movement now taking place that demands intelligent and conscientious care of animals and plants used for all uses. When consumers demand that animals not be abused for consumption and greed; and once consumers demand plants not be sprayed with toxic chemicals and contaminants, growers of all sorts will respond to meet those demands. Be a part of the emerging wave of earth’s conscious effort to live in harmony with its environment.

To transform is to renovate, change, alter or makeover. When I think of that in terms of making over a room in my home, I automatically think of the tear out process, slightly a mess. Let’s consider why for a bit here.
First of all we’ll consider that room, and having been a contractor for awhile I want to play and pretend it’s the bathroom. Part of the flooring is pulled back to discover a wet sub floor; there is mold setting in all along the wall board. In fact it’s the smell that prompted the initial “look see” in the first place. What is the gut reaction? Of course it is usually I can’t afford this right now, either the time and life energy for the mess and construction or the cost of the project. So, would you cover it back up, maybe buy air freshener and hope it went away? Of course not, you handle it because all of a sudden this project becomes the focus of the household.
The bathroom is a room in the house and yet it has a cry for help we might say. How do any of us respond or react when our physical, emotional, spiritual or mental nature asks for help in some way?
Self transformation, the thought of beginning yet another course, enrolling in coaching with a good Coach, signing up for another week long seminar can seem just as daunting a task. And before I write any further I am not suggesting that you or anything about you is moldy, or needs to have a tear out; that is, anything but the thoughts about: who you think you are, what you can do or are allowed to accomplish, how much of life is ready to support you, and how worthy you really are to accept all the good the Universe, God or Source wants you to have. It is old self-programming, the suggestions so readily accepted by the subconscious mind that are up for a makeover.
During Transformational Coaching, your Coach reminds who you really are while helping you to align your purpose with your life’s passions, assists you to handle any “tear outs” and not stay stuck in them, all the while mapping out a life that feels good to you, the one living it.
So, is it time for a tear out? Are there any thoughts standing in your way? Transformation can be fun; it definitely will make room for all new to come to you.
Namaste’

My hopes are that this blogging finds you well and prospering. Many readers have expressed that they are building businesses, writing books and creating an online presence. Hence I am beginning this letter with some exciting business news. I think this is so important because prosperity and our level of allowing are directly linked to our healthy mental outlook and our health in general.
Life has been exciting for me since January. At the time I was just incorporating on-line marketing into my skills basket. I have to admit, I never thought that it would be possible for me to learn and begin to master what it takes to create stores on-line, SEO Competition, Backlink techniques, Article writing and submissions, etc. There is so much more to mention but I will simply leave it with those few categories.
On January 13th, knowing virtually nothing about building exposure online, I felt enough confidence in a team of experts, believed that they loved their product and would not leave me stranded, that I scrolled down to the bottom of a not-so-long page and bought the product. Not available any longer, the product was called Niche’ Blueprint. The creators are Steve Clayton, Tim Godfrey, and Dave Hermansen as our web software designer. It seems almost a miracle to me that with all of the people selling their “stuff” on the web, I found such a great team of honest and REAL producers, teachers and mentors.
This team stands behind their product - and answers all your questions. I know that for a fact.
http://tinyurl.com/ko4puj
Whether or not you are an author, lecturer, coach, consultant, entrepreneur, or all of the afore- mentioned, you most likely are depending on your on-line presence and personna shining through as different, and with you as a giver of great value. Many of us have branding sites and sites for products such as books, e-books, programs, clothing, art work, etc. With the millions of sites on the web, how visible are you? Using the keywords that you feel define you and your product the very best, what is the page rank for your site? Because you must know that very few people scroll past the first Search Engine page that comes up; and in fact, many only scroll down the first two or three sites before they determine that these few sites are the LEAD sites in this category.
Search Engine Mastery is the key! And although, listening to Steve and Tim and Dave have given me the insight into many techniques to gain access to first page Google status in several niche categories, being the FIRST site in a list of sales sites is a huge percentage above the rest as far as the click through rate. So that is my goal. I was thrilled today to find out that my Niche’ Blueprint team has developed a new software to assist in SEO mastery. It is called SEM Business Blueprint. Although it is for business use, I can’t wait to use all of the tactics for my online sites. http://tinyurl.com/ko4puj
My experience has been so much fun, has opened so many more possibilities with article writing and on-line publishing that I had to share this new project with all of you and with the entire web community. I created my first you tube video, for better or worse. And that was creative fun. A little fine tuning and it will be good to share. Take the plunge and at least click on Steve’s overview of the SEM Business Blueprint package.
You won’t be disappointed and of course, checking it out is free. You have my word that I only do things like this when I know the value first hand, so I will not be inundating you with useless mail. http://tinyurl.com/ko4puj
Thanks for sharing time.

This morning my mind went to several clients I’m working with right now concerning liver/gall bladder cleansing. One woman will most likely opt for what many consider normal gall bladder removal. The second scenario is a couple who have successfully prepped liver and gall bladder for two months and just passed stones and debris that cause the typical gall bladder attack.
The next thought that came to my mind is a practitioner of Bowen Therapy who dosclosed that several years ago he found himself in the emergency room with an attack of gall stones. He asked doctors for laser surgery to keep his gall bladder. It was successful; he passed the stones and debris and was discharged.
Let me ask what you would do? Is your gall bladder an expendable organ? Does removing the gall bladder remove the seat of the problem? Does it heal the body to take out an organ? If you answered no to all of the above, you are correct.
Our gall bladder, not as expendable as some seem to think, stores bile which is produced by the liver. It is a tiny grren-walled sac that sits under the right rib cage and is almost guarded by the liver. Storing bile during times of non-digestion is an important function. If a person, who eats fatty foods to begin with, or alcohol, has the gall bladder removed and does not change eating habits, they have little back up.
During digestion bile comes through the bile duct, joins with the pancreatic juices in the duodenum through the hepatopancreatic ampulla. Fresh and organic fruits and vegetable come with their own digestive enzymes and minerals. This is not so with cooked foods. In the case of eating a fat rich meal, the storage of the extra bile which is triggered by fatty foods, meats etc. is a necessary functon.
When digestion is not occurring bile backs up into the cystic duct to be stored in the tiny flask-like gall bladder, water is removed and the concentrated bile waits for the signs of digestion of fatty foods in the duodenum to signal it forward. When too much water is removed or bile is stored for too long in the gall bladder, the cholesterol can make little crystals which are gall stones. The tiny objects can be quite sharp which prompt what is called gall bladder attacks
Gall bladder attacks are like an alarm. They tell you that you are eating or drinking something that is not supported at that time by your digestive system. You simply do not have the juices to do the job of successfully moving the food or drink through your system. The food or drink just ingested has become a not only a burden, it is a detriment. Your mineral bank account is too low and you need help.
Getting rid of the gall bladder will not solve the deeper body problem. Killing the messenger doesnt get rid of the reason for the message; however, blocked bile ducts and/or pancreatic ducts are not an option either. So you must take some kind of action. In an emergency, to keep the gall bladder, ask for laser surgery. With that said, you must change your nutritional habits.
Eat a mineral rich diet, eat organic, make and drink a quart of fresh vegetable juices a day, eat for proper food combining, drink 8 glasses of pure water a day, eat fruit, focus fresh and whole. Cut out anything from fast food places, anything white or canned or boxed. It will take commitment and courage.
Do not do a liver/gall bladder flush without assistance. The liver and gall bladder must be prepared so that stones and gravel have free passage and will not get blocked. A good Naturopath and Nutritionist will help you prepare for a cleanse. If you receive instructions to simply dive into a cleanse without proper preparation please use caution. The liver, gall bladder and pancreas are all united by a series of ducts, small passage ways that must be “massaged” if you will to open and be able to release the debris we want to release during a cleanse.
The key is to support the body with whole and organic foods; and, to take charge and make friends with the skin youre in. You can do it and fortunately there are many professionals out there to help you. Fresh, organic and raw will always build the ability of the body to heal, to digest and to utilize what you put in. Look for a professional Nutritional and Naturopathic Counselor in your area to support you.

Reprogramming the subconscious mind may seem like a task for a thirty minute CD right before bed, and it may be that is the case. What if, however, you took the self improvement a step further? That is exactly the fun I’ve been having with the simple phrase of “You are the money!” Taking the excitement in front of a mirror makes it all the more personal because you can’t escape who you’re really talking to…YOURSELF!
My favorite mentor, Jack Canfield is a firm believer in the power of the Mastermind and in having an Accountability Partner. This gives players in bigger games the support they want to stay on track both with physical goals and their own positive mental attitude, PMA. Oftentimes the light hearted play that comes from those sessions BREAKS up stuck energy simply by introducing play into a perhaps too serious thought that one is not good enough.
At just one such moment my Accountability Partner, Joe Caltabelotta and I were affirming money and free time to enjoy family and life. In the most perfect and light hearted tone, Joe yelled out, Ellen, you are the money. Because we both use the mirror exercise we knew exactly the right place to repeat that affirmation with fun and with not only expectation but with the sense of All Potential. Really, of course I Am the money!
The truth of the matter is that you are the money. You are the power. Your thoughts are creating what you’re experiencing; and that’s not a “make wrong”. It just is, and it’s no big deal. You’re task then is to love it, laugh it free. Trade in thoughts of lack and limitation with your reality because you know YOU ARE the MONEY!
The world will do its best to appear for us exactly as we THINK it should. Change your thoughts and create the abundance of wealth you were designed to have. You are the creator in your world and there is nothing else. You are the power and the change. You decide. You make it happen.
And if it seems like the awful is appearing just ride it out and look with wonder as the world opens up doors for you for newness and greatness. Keep believing that you deserve the best because I have to tell you, You are the money!
Have Fun Manifesting,
Ellen Valentine

Really, tell me what it means to you? Has it affected your job, or how you get paid, the flow of customers to your door or the way people spend in your store? Has the news affected your own mental outlook as far as spending, investing or how you care for yourself? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then the current buzz about the economy has affected you in some way.
Whatever your current reality feels like, that’s right - feels like, changing the status of your thoughts about what seems apparent is the only solution out of a place that is not comfortable. My belief is that it is important not to label any situation as “bad” or “good” which is difficult sometimes; however, the current reality will always change and will always take you to a new place in life.
Change is a constant. We cannot stop change; although, we can go kicking and screaming it will still happen. If we resist it will definitely happen; and, will not feel as good to us as it will when we recognize that change is in the air, and that it can take us to a new level of living, hopefully more consciously.
So to recap, the current situation is about change. If we are adventurous we can say, “oh wow, I can’t wait to see where all this is headed.” To remain calm, take needed action, pray and meditate it requires a certain level of composure and TRUST in the overall Universal Plan. And, if you think I left God out of that equation let me rephrase. It requires TRUST in God’s Universal Plan and the Laws that are always in operation waiting for any of us tap into them.
Two of those Laws are the Laws of Attraction and Connectivity. The Law of Attraction is self-explanatory but it means that the frequency, or vibe as we said in the 1960s,that you send out as to what is true for you, what you believe about yourself, will attract all of that simply because it is a Universal Law set in motion. The Law of Connectivity states that we are all connected. The good news on all levels about that is that we are connected to and through Source Energy, God, or the Universe, however that suits you.
Those two unique Laws give you everything you need to shift your reality during hard or seeming troubled times. So how to do it? Focus, focus, and focus on what you want, not what seems to be. Vision Boards, Vision Books or a computer Vision Screen are all great ways to keep the faith and let the Universe know you are putting in your order. Add music to your creative visualizing time and make it sentient rich, emotion laden and so real you can taste, hear, feel and smell the new creation.
Read only great material. I love books by some of the teachers that have already left us, plus some of my favorite teachers present time like Jack Canfield. Hang out with Masters and live in the gratitude of the present moment. If you don’t feel like you have something to be grateful for, make it up. Just start by saying and feeling thank you. Take a deep breath and look at the sunshine or the trees or a flower. We are deeply blessed on this planet so there’s really no end to what we can be grateful for.
My favorite books for a shift in perspective are: The Master Key System, by Charles Haanel; How to Prosper in Hard Times, a collected work of Joseph Murphy, Napoleon Hill, George Clason and other masters; The Success Principles by Jack Canfield; The Power of the Subconscious Mind, by Joseph Murphy and The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles. So many more could be listed but these few will pull anyone out of poverty consciousness and back to the truth which is that God is not poor and through the Law of Connectivity neither are we.

We are learning now from information on Brain Sciences and Quantum Physics that all we are is pure potential. And although the possibility of all potential is a gift we’ve been given, we often twist the possibilities against our self. According to our energetic impulses, our thought waves, we also tap into the Pure Potential of the Universal Mind from which all things spring. And that happens because of the Laws of Attraction and Connectivity of all things.
One of my favorite teachers of the Law of Attraction is Jack Canfield. Jack walks his talk and lives the life of a great manifestor. I love to quote one of his lines from the Secret Movie, “Decide what you want; know you can have it, believe you deserve it, and be open to receive it.” It can’t be said much plainer than that. It’s worth your time to take a trip to his site and take full advantage of Jack’s training materials. http://www.jackcanfield.com/cmd.php?af=700087
When we experience emotion, part of our body mind, the hypothalamus matches the emotional state and sends out peptides through the pituitary gland which seek to connect or link to docking points on cells in our body. As we get locked into similar thinking day in and day out those docking points are all ready to receive impulses they are used to. Certain situations trigger emotions, if they are familiar emotions, strong emotions, the cells have locking docks just waiting for them. In many ways it could be said that triggers, the emotions they stir up and then the cellular response to them will eventually become “old friends”.
Familiar triggers and emotions create patterns and habits because people tend to relate certain actions, people, places and experiences with strong feelings. This in turn sets up predictable behaviors because some things feel good and some feel bad. People generally go for the better or familiar feeling even if this doesn’t net them the best results.
In brief it feels easier to do the same things, even if they don’t bring the best results because our neurological network gets wired for certain responses. And, although every human is limitless, most function at a very limited level because it feels “normal” or right to them. Daily behavior, then, becomes what a person believes to be true about them; and, it will continue to be true for them
Patterns of thinking also set up an agreement with the Greater Universal Mind that this is what we expect to be true for us. Because the Universe, Source, is very neutral and non-judgmental, it can only respond in support. It sends to us people, circumstances and materials that will be a similar energetic frequency to the energetic frequency of the thoughts or beliefs we hold to be true for us. The stronger the feelings behind thoughts, the bigger the frequency produced, and the faster the response from the Universal Field of All Potential.
Depending on the habitual pattern, the thing that keeps happening, our job to break the habit is to replace one thing for another which will produce a more desirable outcome. In other words, if we can understand a behavior that produces a painful outcome, then we can use a reprogramming technique such as Sedona Method, TFT and EFT, Breath work with Journaling or EMDR to shift the energy around patterns of behavior. It requires effort and continual vigilance for a full 30 – 40 days. That helps the neural network to send a new message for new behaviors. That’s how long it takes to break a neurological response pattern, a habit. Your intention is everything.
As you break an old way of being, old networks are broken, new chemical responses are felt and new neural pathways are created. The Greater Universal Mind also supports the effort and determination on the part of the person. Because a person is shifting what they believe to be true about them, the impulse and response from the Universe supports the new belief. This goes back again to the Law of Connectivity and the Law of Attraction. This is the reason not to give up when you are working on YOU as a project. Many people, most people in fact, quit right before they achieve success. Having a strong support system is crucial.
http://www.jackcanfield.com/cmd.php?af=700087
To get new results and create new ways things happen in your life begin thinking new thoughts about yourself. Shift your perspective as your own life observer. Shift the energy around the situation and keep doing the process until you start getting the results you hope for. In that way you claim more of who you really are. As always support is a key in shifting patterns and remembering the goodness you truly are in the process.
